Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to services provided by Ballast Engineering LLC ("Ballast", "we", "us"). All prices are in US dollars (USD).
1. Production Readiness Review (USD 2,000)
To perform the Review, the client must connect the GitHub repository containing the application's source code to our review environment. Code analysis begins once the repository is connected, which involves time and operating costs.
- Full refund (100%) if you cancel before connecting the repository.
- Partial refund (50%) if you cancel within two (2) business days after connecting the repository.
- No refund after two (2) business days from the repository connection, or once the written report has been delivered.
- Repository not connected within 30 days: if the repository is not connected within thirty (30) days of payment, we will automatically refund 100% of the fee. We will send reminders before that date.
If you hire us for the implementation, the full Review fee is credited against that project.
2. Monthly plans (Foundation and Partner)
Monthly plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and will not renew. We do not provide refunds or prorated credits for partial periods. Unused reserved development hours do not roll over and are not refundable.
3. Fixed-price implementation projects
Implementation projects are billed by milestones agreed in writing before work starts. If a project is cancelled, the client pays for milestones already delivered. Payments for delivered milestones are not refundable. Payments made in advance for milestones that have not started will be refunded.
4. How to cancel or request a refund
Email daniel@ballastengineering.com from the address associated with your purchase. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days.
